Overdue

So Jim and I are just about a week overdue. We are really starting to wonder if this lil guy wants to meet us. I'm sure he'll be worth the long wait once he gets here though! I started my leave from work on Tuesday. I've spent the time resting and waiting at home. I feel super fortunate to be able to be home these last few days before he gets here. We have a doctors appointment today so we're hoping for some good news and to get this show on the road!

Almost Due!

Hello All! So Jim and I are nearing the end of the pregnancy road. We are five days from our due date and we are getting more and more anxious and excited with each passing day. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on in the name of labor, but we're hoping that changes soon and we can meet baby Ranweiler sooner than later! Thank you to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed to have such caring friends and family! Keep your fingers crossed for a good appointment tomorrow! Parenthood here we come! :0)

Almost done waiting for baby Ranwieler

Jim and I are about five weeks away from our due date and are anxiously waiting for our little man to arrive. We have the nursery mostly ready and spend our nights just.......waiting.....
All has gone well so far. We are praying for a healthly five weeks and a healthy delivery!

So we're pregnant!

Jim and I found out we were pregnant in early August and keep this huge secret until Halloween. How we did it, I have NO idea. It was truly the hardest secret we've ever had to keep. We ended up telling our friends on Halloween. I was the bun and the oven and Jim was the baker. Pretty clever costume, but I don't think our friends really got it or thought we were serious at first! It was pretty tough wearing my oven around for long so costume #2 was a pregnant Kindergarten teacher. I had the jean jumper and all.
